Dr Luis Gaia Braz | Mirysdent Estoril

Born in Figueira da Foz, I developed an interest in the healthcare field from an early age.
After graduating in Dentistry, I emigrated to the United Kingdom and then to Luxembourg, where I currently live.
In 2023, I accepted the invitation from my friend and mentor Dr Iris Monteiro to join the clinical team at Mirysdent Estoril by Dr Iris Monteiro.
And here I am, travelling to Portugal more often.

I am at Mirysdent Estoril thanks to:

Integrated Master’s Degree in Dentistry from FMUC.
Clinical Residency in the Extraction of Impacted Teeth at Clínica de Santa Madalena in Braga.
Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics Course at Instituto Eduardo Prado.
Invisalign certification.
Clinical Residency in Facial Harmonisation with Dr Bruno Rodrigues.
Also in 2023, a Master’s in Invisalign at Instituto Eduardo Prado and a Residency in Mini-Implants Associated with Aligners with Dr Márcio Almeida.

I play padel with friends, do snow sports, and go diving.

What I am proud of:

I am proud to have completed two degrees consecutively and, on a personal level, to have married and have two children.

My perfect meal is:

Good sashimi or grilled sardines.

My motto:

Luck takes a lot of work.

‍I was in the Sea Scouts for 10 years, have held a sailor’s licence since I was 16, and I love cooking.
