Dr. Iris Monteiro is a Clinical Psychologist, Dentist, and Lecturer. She began her career in Clinical Psychology in 2001, working in a hospital setting and combining it with private practice. She was part of several pioneering programs at TAP’s Healthcare Unit and contributed to the drafting of national health legislation. Following a family professional path, particularly that of her father, and in order to expand her horizons to other areas of medicine, she graduated in 2009 with an Integrated Master’s degree in Dentistry, in collaboration with the University of Lille II, France. In 2010, she completed her Doctorate degree at Maimonides University, Florida, USA.

Always seeking differentiation factors and personal fulfillment, she completed several postgraduate programs in different areas of Dentistry, namely in Orthodontics and Facial Orthopedics, Invisalign certification, TMD and Orofacial Pain, and Dento-Facial Harmonization and Aesthetics.

By institutional invitation, she joined the teaching staff at Instituto Eduardo Prado in 2014, which allows for constant updating and the development and acquisition of extensive skills.

In 2018, she made a full and exclusive investment in Dentistry, combining the maturity and successful experience from the field of Clinical Psychology, with stable functions in private practice, clinical direction, and teaching.
